3. Quick start
On the first screen, click on "Import blog" button to import a blog. Choose the type of blog you want to import between Wordpress and dotClear.
Fill in the 4 required fields :
Name : Enter a name of your choice for this blog
URL : Enter the URL of the weblog. For testing purpose, you can use our Wordpress blog. Then, enter http://www.airpress.org/wordpress
Username : Enter a username that have rights to publish posts on the weblog. In the case of our Wordpress blog, use guest
Password : Enter the associated password. In the case of our Wordpress blog, use guest
When the blog is imported, recents posts are downloaded and stored in the local database for offline consultation.
From this screen, you have 2 choices :
View/Edit posts : From this screen, you can see published and draft posts. You can decide to edit a post (not fully implemented --you can only add new elements), or delete one or more posts.
Add a post : From this screen, you can add a post to the blog.
You will be able to post :
text
pictures
sound (mp3)
video (flv)
webcam streaming (directly from AirPress!!)
webcam snapshot
flash animation (alpha version)
Then click on publish, every elements are uploaded on your blog and... that's it !! No need of FTP client, Webcam capture software and FLV encoding. Everything is done directly by Airpress !
4. TroubleShooting
Some features are still in development like the "Edit post" stuff. For the moment, what I suggest is using AirPress for posting into blog and then edit content directly from admin interface of your weblog.
